Now if Kiplimo is splitting sub 27 in a half marathon he finishes in sub 58, what could that translate to on the track? How much faster than 27 could Kiplimo go right now, if at all. I fully expect trolls will say the roads are just as fast as the track the same way I troll on indoor mile discussions.

If he can catch a fast 10k this year I think we might see a 26:20-26:23.
Or maybe even faster ? What if after the WC he wants to take a shot at the WR...
I remember seeing this guy in the Great Manchester run a few years ago and it was one of those awe inspiring moments to see him run. It was so obvious even in comparison to the 100's of other teenage phenoms I've seen in my life that he was going to be something really special, his stride is one of the most beautiful and fluid I've ever seen. This guy is the future marathon world record holder and I fully believe, he'll be the guy pushing the sub-2 barrier very close. He has all the tools to do so from the 3000 speed, the ability to timetrial, the incredibly relaxed and economical running form and he appears to get stronger the longer the race is.
I also believe he'll be faster at 5/10k than Cheptegei when its all said and done and if he stays focused on the track. This guy is a generational talent.

Anyone know if he will go down in distance to 3k, 5k or 10k or if its all road and half marathon in the future? In that case he is the future road goat, but maybe not the goat goat.
Though Kiplimo was not the first to start this trend, it is cool to see young phenoms take to the roads earlier than ever and legitimize records on the roads.
That said, sometimes part of me also feels like Kiplimo should slow down a little bit with his road endeavors and devote more to the track. Maybe that's just me, but Im thinking about the big picture, Im thinking about what will ultimately become the Kiplimo legacy.

Kiplimo is the GOAT in the making.
Tehehe... pretty sure he's been maxed out on mega levels of EPO for a while. Don't think we'll be seeing him setting any PRs below half mara. You actually think he can squeeze out some more from the dope?

Okay I just saw this, I also troll sometimes too for kicks. Respect, no downvotes for you
