I don't think he needs to acknowledge or apologize for doping. He served his ban, that's what the rules say he needs to do. I do not think he will get anywhere near what he was, but I am interested in seeing him try. He might be decent in the 800, he had good wheels and I suppose it is the event where genetics is slightly more important than tons of training.
Before, during and after the ban, he's consistently maintained that he didn't dope.
