Quit crying. We all know you are in love with D3 runners, especially the Williams kid.
Your complaint should be that Williams is not racing on 200m flat tracks. They chose to fly him out to Washington. Apparently they have a bigger budget than most D1 teams.
LOL- I certainly won't deny that I promote the strength of the D3 running scene on Lets run. And I use Aidan Ryan as an example of someone who could have run D1, but chose the D3 route. I also promote Alex Philip from John Carrol, and Travis Martin from Trinity. All because they compete regularly on banked tracks, and have each broken D3 national records in the last few months. In Ryan's case, he just shattered the mile and 3k records and has one of the fastest times across all divisions, so he is easy to compare, because honestly, there are only so many D3 runners who you can use when comparing these times to D1 runners.
As for Williams, I chose them because they are the best team in the Nescac and I root for my conference. But I also talk about Pomona, Wartburg, Johns Hopkins, and MIT quite a bit as well. The fact is, I never speak about my child, and I have never even said what school they attend or even what sex they are.
And no one has ever bothered to answer my very first question. There is no reason that TFRRS gives div 3 runners slower times while giving D1 runners faster times other than the arcane rule about where nationals is run. Which makes no sense. Wether you convert up from flat to banked, or you convert down from banked to flat, doesn't really matter. The same kids would be in the same order on the performance lists. Its simply a matter of what the times are. And apparently D1 likes to make their runners appear faster and likes to make D3 runners appear slower. Thats the only conclusion that makes sense to me.
