Honestly none of these hot takes (in general on these boards) about Kessler sucking/being cooked/overrated etc can possibly be real right?
He's 18 years old and just ran 3.57 in February indoors and this is his first season coming in as a pro. It is just beyond comical the criticism he is getting though I suspect some of this is just click bait and trolling, although not all of it can be.
If Kessler was out here running 3.51 for the mile right now he would be running 3.40 for the 1500 come July and then you anemic stroppers would be all over him for that too. For him to be running this quick (because we forget how fast a 3.57 mile is) right now, in his first pro season in the middle of what is a high-fatigue block of training is actually very impressive.
