Knowingly misleading people is way worse. Incompetence is an easy fix, just get the incompetent person out of their position. Being intentionally misleading means there are likely more people involved and will be a harder situation to remedy.

Too early to say what Flagbro? We've known for a while now that omicron is less virulent from real-world data and invitro lab studies.
Maybe it's too early to say Omicron arose "naturally." It shows some signs of lab origin.

Still too early to say that mass infection is the best way forward. It very well MIGHT end up being the case, but right now a lot of people are still needing to be hospitalized and are dying of Omicron.
Because that is the case, mass infection right now is NOT preferable as too many are dying. If you are a person who believes anyone over age 40 or is even a little overweight who dies is expendable, then there's little likelihood you will agree. If the virus culls all the weaker unvaccinated people and most of us smart people are vaccinated (which is the case right now), then we will likely get back to pre COVID normalcy for vaccinated people...but the cost is pretty damn high. There are a LOT of minor children out there who have lost one or both parents to this virus because the parent or parents didn't want to get vaccinated to protect their family. It's a shame.

Vaccinations, masking, distancing have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives. People refusing to do any of these have probably cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

SMH, over a year of vaccination and some people still don't know what it's for. Covid Vaccine is here to prevent a severe course of illness and save the hospitals from overload in the process.
So yes, elderly and health-compromised people definitely should get the vaccine and no, children and young, healthy people do not need it.
