2026 USATF Indoor Championships

There was plenty of drama on day 2 of the 2026 USATF Indoor Championships. In the men’s 1500, Nathan Green and Luke Houser stunned Olympic medalists Cole Hocker and Yared Nuguse, who were left off the team. In the 800s, Cooper Lutkenhaus's flawless first pro season continued with his first U.S. title in the 800 as Addy Wiley won her first women's title in the women's 800. In the women's 1500, Nikki Hiltz extended their dominance bu thad to work for it while Jordan Anthony outdueled Noah Lyles in the 60m.

The men's 3,000 was one of the best distance finals in the history of the US indoor meet. Hocker won, Yared Nuguse was 2nd, and Nico Young 3rd with the top 3 separated by just .04. Mackay ran a 5-second pb of 8:30 to stun St. Pierre.
