Cole Hocker the Clear Favorite in Stacked USA Indoors 3000 Featuring Nico Young, Yared Nuguse and Breakout Star Ethan Strand

Olympic and World champion Cole Hocker is the overwhelming favorite in Saturday’s men’s 3000 meters at the USATF Indoor Championships in Staten Island.

We haven’t seen an official sports book betting line on USA Indoors, but the numbers below come from the LetsRun.com Prediction Contest presented by Aletheia Run (you can enter until the gun goes off Saturday).

In the 3000, Hocker received 64.6% odds to win, ahead of Diamond League 5000m runner Nico Young (28.5%). Former American record holder Yared Nuguse checks in at 4.0%, with 2025 breakout star Ethan Strand at 2.6%.

On the women’s side, Nikki Hiltz is a big favorite to win her seventh straight U.S. 1500 title at 64.7% odds to win. Elle St. Pierre, meanwhile, is expected to focus on the 3000, where she is a commanding 92.4% favorite.
