And our anti-drug talk reaches an all-time high (or low) as instead of doping we skip to the heavy stuff and talk about heroin.

Wednesday's Quote of the Day: "The idea was to force him to go in the direction of the
400.. I told him last year that if he broke the Jamaican record
in the 200, 19.8 something, I would allow him to run one 100. He broke the record (running 19.75 seconds) and he said:
'You've got to keep your promise'." -Glen Mills, Usain Bolt's coach,

Antonio Pettigrew, Dennis Mitchell Listed in Witness List as Drug Cheats
A lot of people will go down if the Trevor Graham case goes to trial next month. Remember when 2 years ago Letsrun.com first pointed out Mitchell was coaching the US team in the US vs UK meet. Then the British press picked
up on it, and then Mitchell's name disappeared from the USATF website. Then USATF a week later tried to say with a straight face that the Dennis Mitchell, was the Akron coach, not the drug cheat. Heads should have rolled for that one but it shows how some in USATF work. If anyone would like to give us an update
on USATF shenanigans feel free to email us. The old guard at USATF of course accepted Mitchell's five beers and lots of sex with his wife excuse, and the new guard felt it was ok to try and cover up the fact he was coaching a team. While we're at it, it's time for Sandra Farmer-Patrick to go.
