Distance Highlights: Villanova’s Angel Piccirillo was the highlight as she set the collegiate 1000m record with 2:40.82. The previous record was 2:41.00 by Duke’s Kate Van Buskirk in 2011. There was fast DMR action as Georgetown ran 9:28.91 in the to beat out Villanova (9:29.17). Villanova got victories from Jordan Williamsz (mile) and Pat Tiernan (3K/5K). Georetown’s Katrina Coogan won the 3,000 in 9:07.44.
