Ever since I ran my highest mileage yet of 50 miles last week, I just haven’t felt like myself the week after. Monday-Wednesday I was struggling to maintain my regular easy day pace. Thursday I felt a lil better, and today we did a workout where a teammate who I would normally be able to keep up with beat me. And this guy had just gotten back from a vacation where he hadn’t been running at all for a week whereas I had been running 50 miles the week where he didn’t run. What’s going on? Is this normal fatigue I’m experiencing?
