Let's be honest. Don't we all need a V?
Yet somehow almost every job filled is a man? Of the nearly 350 NCAA Division I head women's cross country coaching positions, less than 15% are coached by women. If you want a job and can't get one, it's not because your gender.
Bragging about Texas? Floreal should win all three nationals his first year.. or do we wait until he does. Only Bev could do it... andnot consistently.
we're quite happy to have you stay in Texas. It's fine. nobody messes with it, I hear :) :) :) :)
:) :) :)
It’s mostly accurate but those aren’t automatically the top factors an assistant coach is going to consider when deciding on where to work. First on most peoples’ list is, do I like the person I’d be working for. How do you think Flo stacks up against the Powells there?
every head coach is going to be demanding. staffs are made up of people who can be trusted.

Bull there are some really good guys out there as heads and win. But there are alot of jackassery in many head coach positions.
you're right only good coaches will be demanding
No.

Guys (and ladies): Oregon HAS offered the distance position to multiple coaches and they all turned it down. Why you say? Lack of independence, micromanagement, etc. The really talented coaches who were offered the job don't need that and don't have it where they are. So why go into a situation where you are only doing it for the money.
Q. Why would someone go into a situation where they are only doing it for the money?
A. For the money. Some people need it. Many people want it.
This all day long. Toby snubbing Texas is the telling sign that all Floreal’s assistants never enjoyed working for the guy.
Pete, I hope you’re getting paid double what you were making at UVA! Otherwise, the job is not worth the headache...buyer beware!
"I need to thank (former University of Kentucky) Coach Edrick Floreal for his leadership, guidance and friendship over the past 20 years and his trust in me as a coach. Thank you for everything. I would also like to thank all the administration, staff and student athletes at the University of Kentucky for making my time there an amazing experience. I wish them all the best of luck."
clearly he likes floreal wrote:

Dude come on... actions >words
New UW Throws Coach?? Maybe Robert Weir from his Stanford ties with the Powell’s and Toby??

The dude gets canned for being lazy. I think he was even fired from Oregon when the Powell's were there. Jill camerana is a better choice if they go with a Stanford connection but I think she enjoys the sports performance side of things more.
WAs the heck does it mean, "pursuing other opportunities" when the AD says that about Raske at SIU? Insn't that code for we fired her butt? What is the real story?

Had heard she had racked up or allowed staff to rack up some hefty violations. Could also have to do with being at odds with ad over budget cuts etc.
