I always buy womans running shoes as they're cheaper, is there anything wrong with this?

you're obviously not comfortable in your own skin. might as well get a sex change.
If they work for you, then I say go for it.
However, the only concern is that women's running shoes are a gateway to women's heels - and those are expensive. In my drag days, it was definitely a big drain on my wallet.

I buy used women's running shoe off ebay and in thrift stores because I like rhe way they smell. Nothing wrong with it all and when you meet a woman's foot in person... mmmmmmm!!!

No constructive argument here ,move along. Are you telling me if two structurally identical running shoes , and the only difference being the colors and the label of men and woman slapped on them, you'd buy the mens running shoes which could cost any extra $30. Well you've been scammed my friend , scammed i tell ya SCAMMED hahaha.
Big fan of women's yoga pants. They got that extra room in the back for the boys who have the beastly booties. Usually go shopping on weekdays for these.
Right now I'm about to buy saucony A6 racing flats, and i found great bargain for womans saucony running shoes. I'm not falling for these big corporation scams, not anymore.
I've recently noticed that lots of the shoes I use are cheaper for women. Are they shaped and structured the same? What women's size would be equivalent to a men's 8?

I don't have some weird fetish like you, but when i'm in a running store i usually look through the mens running shoe section then the womans, whenever i pick a running shoe from the womans section i always get odd stares from the staff and customers. I try them on , they fit and comfortable, they're much cheaper, i don't see what the fuss is about.

About a 9.5 W is equivalent to a 8-M. Watch the width, women's are typically a B width, but there is also an AA width (narrow) and C/D (wide) width, which is what I think would be most similar to men's shoes.
I do the same thing!!!! My last 4 pair of Boston Boost were women's size 11. $40-$50 per pair vs. $100+

Hmm i have narrow feet compared to most men, which could be the reason why womans running shoes have such good fit, most of the time more than mens running shoes.
the joke
you

Finally some common sense.
Was at the local adidas outlet and found a pair of grey Adios boost Euro size 42 which was the right size for me. Thought they were last years color since that years male option was blue. Got home and looked closer and the US size was odd and didn't match my other pair. Typo? No, it was US size. They worked fine and cost much less (maybe just due to being outlet price). Some makers or styles might have structural difference but these did not seem to have that issue.
Knowing that as a coach years ago I could buy shoes on a program at 1/4 the MSRP or less. The companies were still making a profit even at those prices. It makes sense to save the $ any way possible.
If the shoe fits wear it
