I recently went to the store to check out new spikes. Both the Nike Victory and Adidas MD has a spike plate with 6 spikes, while the Saucony Endorphine only have 4. This made me wonder, why on earth would they only have 4 spikes?

Maybe because they don't do anything at MD or longer distances.
Maybe they do, but I'd say there's about a 33% chance they don't. Saucony seems to agree and is hedging their bets.
