So I am currently a junior in college. I took 2 years off from track for family and personal reasons. I was planning to try out for my D1 school this year but ended up pulling my groin and waited until it was better to contact them about walking on, but by that time the tryouts were over. Now my best jump is 34 3 feet And walk on standards are 38 scholarship is 40. I have no doubt that I can get that with training of course as I only jumped a 34 because I didn't get any real training and no weight traing for track in high school and havent measured my jumps since then. Now my plan is to join a club team for the indoor season so I can get my mark up. But my question is would I be able to walk on that far in the season or even next year.
i need tips on my schedule to optimize my chances
my current work out schedule is
Mon: weights/plyos
Tues: Sprints
Wed: weights/plyos
Thurs: Sprints
Fri: weights/plyos
Sat: recovery(pool day)
Sun: off
