He literally says he thinks it is an innocent mistake, that he used the wrong photo, or just put any photo of training to bolster the tweet

He definitely wasn't in France since several people commented on the tweet saying he was in Sabadell and there's even another post the same day from someone in Sabadell with Mo. However, if he were trying to hide the location, I don't know why he'd post at all.

Because it is standard for Farah to not tell the truth about what he is doing. Aden is now someone Mo has no connections to, and never did. Forget about the photos and visual sightings. Those are not real.

A third option - He could have a social media manager doing his tweets.

The weird thing to me is his agent didn't know he'd ever been there.

That being said, it's not a smoking gun but it's not certainly a great look for him. Many people I've talked to over the years about Rupp/Salazar/NOP and doping have wondered, "If Farah got on drugs when he joined NOP, how would he continue to be on them when he's never with Salazar and always in Africa."

Well we now know that it seemingly would be quite easy for him to get the drugs from Aden in both Africa and Spain. That doesn't mean that he is on them but I think the tweet does hurt him.

I think Mo's alleged friendship with Aden should be very closely examined, but your coverage smells too much of sensationalism.

Mo posted that to his twitter account in 2014, and a follower pointed out that he was in Sabadell....in 2014. Why would he be hiding the fact that he trained there in 2014? Mo is not clairvoyant, and would have no reason to hide the fact that he trained on the same track where a major bust would occur two years later. There are numerous photos of Mo WITH Aden. If he were to hide anything, it would be the numerous times he's been seen with Aden and training with his group. Or, for that matter, training with busted athletes (Driouch).

Genzebe Dibaba was AT the hotel during the raid, and in yesterday's article you mentioned her name 7 times vs 4 for Farah. And in today's article, Farah is mentioned 23 times vs 6 for Genzebe. My count may be off slightly, but the point remains.

Farah should be under a microscope, and the growing amount of smoke indicates there will be fire. But when you ask, "Why was Farah not being accurate about his location?" - you are not reporting 'the facts.'

Aden's group was near the coast training.

Farah was at the primary altitude track training. Less than two hours from Aden's group.

Aden's group planned some altitude training.

Okay so lets address the damning concern that he wanted to hide the fact he was in Spain. We would have to make illogical assumptions to arrive at that conclusion. The first assumption is that he didn't want people to know he was training in Spain, but why? the only reasonable assumption is because he wanted to avoid connection with Jama. If we accept that premise then why would he publicly advertise for the last two years that he has been training not just at the same site as Jama in Ethiopia, but directly with his athletes in workoits for months at a time. These two things just don't reconcile, he cant both be hiding his connection with Jama but also advertise his connection on social media. It seems like you have an interest in making this a bigger deal than it is actually is.

The fact Jama got raided in Spain is of little value, he could have been caught in Ethiopia, Kenya, Stockholm, Font Romeu or the locations they train. Yes it's damning for Farah that his ties to Jama are very strong, but this picture you uncovered offers little in terms of value and is disingenuous journalism at best.

It's like all of you guys here on LR forgot about his out-of-nowhere 3:28 1500m run came from in 2013, when he was training for the 10K and 5K!!!

Did LR completely forget about his absurd mark he set 3 years ago? At age 30, a guy who specializes in the 5K and 10K, just does a one-off tune-up 1500m in 3:28??? Hell no. Doped to his eyeballs for sure. That just doesn't happen.

Brosjos, what you want are the original .jpg files. There should be gps coordinates in the metadata as long as the social media provider isn't stripping them.

Take a picture with your mobile phone and upload it here as an example.

Many DSCs have a gps radio and are writing location metadata.

Facingbook probably does something similar.

Perhaps the point of this was to go down down to sea level for a workout or some specified amount of time, while maintaining that his training camp is based at altitude in France, as some Americans do while staying at altitude in Flagstaff, etc.

Only a fool posts a raw file on the internet with GPS data and more buried in it. Simple use a photo program to copy the image and past into a new, info-free, image. Make sure it is clean, and post that. There are people who know how to fake the photo data to make it appear to be somewhere than where it actually was.
