running is a very difficult sport but it is simple to do.
The most important thing to do is to leave any distractions (iPhones) behind and start running.
If a person makes the jump from imagining he could run to actually running then he is 99 percent of the way there.
Once you start you can train yourself.
Many greats in the past have done this.
slower than race pace runs over the 5k distance on some days.
faster than race pace runs under the 5k distance on other days.
A person starting out will not be able to run a 5k even at a relatively slow pace so start by running a mile.
Then gradually build up to over the 5k distance.
