Kindof strange interview...
I thought it was a beautiful interview. I love the vulnerability he showed, definitely rooting for him to do well and make the team.
He's different, but he's interesting, and he's got some depth, plus talent. Doesn't mean he'll make the team, though.
Let's face it. 99% of these elites are huge doofuses. A guy like Fernando is way more appealing to the general public then these other guys. I know what he's done in the past, we were all stupid once. So much hate on here because there are so many doofuses.
Go Fernando.
Loved it. He's experienced the ups and downs of the sport, the self doubt, the successes and failures. We can all appreciate that as competitive runners even if we're not running 2:12. I was indifferent about him before watching but now I say Go Fernando!
Who is the rude blonde lady who walks in and is getting in the way?
I'm rooting for him, but it is kind of annoying how many times he says he's talented/how much talent he has. He shoehorns it into just about every sentence.
Figures we'd get some super shitty audio from Flotrack too.
