I don't see that WR falling anytime soon.

As long as all the other records from the EPO era.
It'll be gone by 2017
Till Hasay moves up to the marathon.
runs faster and breaks it.
Until cheating becomes more sophisticated than when paula cheated. Dr jeffrey brown will see you now.

This. Paula's record screams dirty outlier so much it's not even funny, it blows my mind anyone takes this record seriously.

More dirty than the men's record? Prolly not..
It's the sad truth, but i'm 99.9% certain she cheated.
To think that all of the women getting busted recently aren't even close to 2:15 and ARE DOPING and getting busted makes me think Rad did it and just didn't get busted. we will never know though. It just makes me mad she has such a stance against doping, which is a huge red flag that she actually was a doper, it's a bad cover.

Female marathoners underperform. Most men who can run a 30 min 10k have no problem to run 2,15.
50 years.

You're crazy.
Five years give or take a few. The lack of male pacers doesn't help though.
Her half marathon record was already obliterated so it's possible
Meseret Defar in 2018 or 2022, non global years, good time to attempt a record. Ran 66:09 on a slightly downhill course In the United Kingdom (Priscah Jeptoo won by a big margin) but she did not really train for it, it was right after track season, she was likely tired and she had been training for 5000, she can make a few adjustments in her training and she at minimum threaten if not break the marathon record and the half marathon record as well, breaking world records is what she does.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Idiot.
What about the other records 1500 - 3000 - 5000 - 10000.
the 14:11 of Dibaba, is also very fast, i you compare it to the 10k.
Most common is 5k time * 2 + 1 min.
Gives 29:22, so Gezebe of Ayana could be enable to break the 5k.
14:14 becomes 29:28.
The 3000 is pretty sure doped, 8:06 what would that be for 5k?
The 1500 meters is also an outlier, come on 3:50:46!
With women running 66:00 minutes or so, i don't see the record going down very soon.
Mabye kiplagat with here 1:05:09, could on a good day with pacers towards break it.
Other then that only the 5 and 10k records see breakable.
1500 and 3000 are out of reach, fastest in 4 years are 3:56 by Aragawi and 8:20 by Obiri.

I´m not. You´re so used to seeing people step up to the marathon when they are in their slowing down phase of their career, so you think it´s natural for a sub-13 guy like Tegenkamp to run 2,12.
A friend of mine who is a 29,59 10000 runner has run a 2,12 marathon.
Khalid Khannouchi who was a 27-high 10k runner ran 2.05,38.

KK ran a 10k road race in 27:45 because that's what was needed to win. That doesn't mean he was a 27-high 10000 runner at his best. With some dedication he could obviously take half a minute off that, or probably easily go sub 27.
Also KK ran his best marathon when he was 31, or what you claim in his "slowing down phase".
