* 5:30 AM swim workout - 4 x 400m on 5' + 4 x 200m on 2'30" + 4 x 100m on 1'15" - he swims 25-30 km, sometimes 40 km a week
* Followed by a 10 km run to the track, put the spikes on, did some sprint work - he runs 130-160 km a week
* 3:30 pm 2 hour bike ride (easy 60 km) - he bikes anywhere up to 750 km a week
* Second running workout run - 2 x 2 km uphill, jog back down... then back to the track (it's now 7 pm) for 20 x 400m in 69-70 with 200m jog recovery!
I am exhausted just watching that. I didn't know one could handle all that aerobic training at once. Somehow I pictured triathletes just half-assed all three sports.
