Not exactly, Fernandez has had his best season in years and the other guys have had some decent performances this year.
I'm going to agree with the OP. I really thought Hill would burst onto the scene this year. I doubt a 13:4x for 5k and a couple 1500's in 3:41 qualify as "a best season in years" for German. Just getting outside and walking a lap on the high school track would have constituted a better season for him compared to last year. I don't know enough about Bumbalough to comment.
Martinez has been over-racing. Lesson learned I'm sure. Look for her to come back strongly next year.
Martinez did win two medals at the world relays though, and even though those are new it's still hardware. Amd the 4x800m was legit
BTC boys resume their Euro season tomorrow at a meet in Merksem, Belgium. Per their tweets, German and Bumbi are entered in the 1500m. Don't know about Lomong and Hill but they've been training together this past month up in St. Moritz so they may run as well.
Andy Beyer's in the steeple this Sunday at the Birmingham meet.
Again per Bumbi's tweet, he's entered in the ISTAF Berlin 5k next weekend then the Reiti 3k Sept. 7th.
Martinez entered in the 800m this Sunday as well.
Judgments on who's done what well, who hasn't, are of no consequence at this time. Track ends Sept. 14th with the Continental Cup. Suck it up until then.
