Part of me thinks Lance actually has a chance to be on the podium at the end of this one. It looks like he's rounding into shape at the right time.
That being said, I don't think there's any way Contador doens't take this one.

Haha in all reality that is the truth. The winner of the tour has a ton to do with preparation but that preparation has a ton to do with the sucess of the performance enhancer cycles.
Contador will take the cake unless there is some funky tactics going on with Astana. It will be undoubtably strange to witness the fella who's won seven tours have to work as a domestique.
Even though I hate Lance I'm fired up he's in it this year. I'm actually really excited to see what happens.

Yep. Guys in cycling have taken drugs. Lance was a huge doper. Things are still happening now.
The very same thing is happening in your face in this sport. Only it's much easier to get away with due to the fact you don't have to perform every day for 3 weeks.

When there's no test available for the drug being taken (a la epo in 1999), it's kind of hard to get an A and B sample to test positive. Yes, Marion was clean too, I mean she never tested positive :-)If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it's probably a duck. For duck read drug-taker.
