Woods is still developing...he will have plenty of opportunities to run in CWG's.

take look on the link and you will see willis does have the edurance mottram has and to be a good miller you need endurance too......not just speed, i predict mottram takes conctrol of the raced at the 800 mark and nobody will keep up with him cause he has all the endurance and speed to win.
Mottram will as long as he can push the last 800m under 1:50 (maybe 56 then a 53). He has more strength than anyone else in the field. However, if he leaves it to the last 300m he definitly will not win.
To the poster who said don't write off Fountain: I agree. He looked ridiculously easy in the semi. How much has he left. He could pull off a shock.
Willis, Mottram and Fountain to take the medals, but I'm not predicting the order.
Bayi's record will not be approached.
didnt think willis looked that good in heat but not 2 many have his kick.Im gona go for a kenyan to win.
Tottally forgot brannen was in this race. Brannen is in much better shape this year than last so who knows what he'll do. Sullivan is in better shape too as he already set the canadian record in teh 3k going 742. This should be a great race all around and hopefully goes out fast.
It'll be interesting to see what Cragg can do in a real race. Anything under 337 would be a great sign of his fitness as his pr is 339 but his 355 mile indoors shows he's ready.
for the 1500m-GO CANADA!!!!
sullsy & nate
there is a history of good 1500m showings at commonwealths...
Sully will do his usual sit in the back and move up a couple spots at the end for a 5th or 6th place. Nate will get tooled.
Cragg?
I think it may help the stronger runners by having back to back races. We shall see! Not much recovery time
Any race with Kenyans is unpredictable. I don't think willis has a chance of winning gold, lets be realistic about the outcome 2morrow, Kenyans vs Mottram
I dont think mottram or Mckormick will want it too slow, Mckormick look well out of his depth in the worlds last year in a tactical race, but can front run really well. I dont think he will win but am confident that both the brits will do well. Badley looked good in qulifying.
However has the potential to be a really good race, with so many guys round the 3.32 mark. ]
Mottram to win. He has 80,000 aussies behind him, oh and he has a british passport. Got to get some glory!!
^^ = "only" 2 Kenyans made finals (only 3 ran heats)...
What's up w/that?

My pick:
1 Willis
2 Mottram
3 doesn't matter...
Dude shut the FDck up.........first off all in that raced Mottram set the pace for the 3 and 4 lap while willis just stay behind like a girl, this timed mottram will let willis go fast and beat willis. If you dont know mottram has a better timed than willis in the mile and 2000 meters so shut up and get your facts...........loser
seriously. what a COCK you are.
I don't think Mottram will let the pace be so slow. If it's 2 minutes at the halfway mark he's in deep trouble. He needs to take it out hard.
Nate is in the best form of his life - this should be his introduction to the world.
Sully has shown amazing fitness, but will he have the balls that he once had? ie. 1994 in victoria.
willis i hope he is 100%. the slowers are at his mercy.
fountain similar to willis, but willis has more talent.
is there a kenyan darkhorse?
mottram, will have to make a huge commitment - but will it be enough?
Letsrun Readers,
Mottram is going to smash Willis... just 2 weeks ago Mottram split a mile maybe half a second slower than Willis has ever run and kept going for another lap!
The PB argument is also useless... Mottrams mile is much better than Willis' 1500... Willis will choke! Just like he has in every major championship to date
1. Mottram
2. Fountain
3. McCormick
Nate will be solid if it comes down to a 400m sprint but not if it becomes a strength race over the last 800m. He's no where near the talent of Willis.
Yer not funny, you only wish you had his talent.

Willis had some vaginal infection, if I recall correctly.

Mottram's mile split in that race was 3:57 you moron. Willis is a 3:50 guy.
