It has been 13+ years since Stanford won an NCAA XC team title, and no Stanford man or woman has ever won the individual title. Look for Ella Donaghu and this year's Cardinal team to change that.

The NCAA XC champs will be held on March 15, just two days after NCAA Indoors. Jonathan Gault spoke to several top NCAA coaches to figure out why the schedule turned out that way -- and how they're adjusting. Many coaches indicated they are likely to blow off one of the championships entirely.

27 of the 32 NCAA conferences postponed their fall championships, but five -- including the ACC, Big 12, and SEC -- will hold conference meets this weekend. Conference action kicks off Friday with showdowns at Pac-12s (No. 2 Stanford men vs. No. 3 Oregon & No. 7 Colorado; No. 1 Colorado women vs. No. 2 Washington & No. 5 Oregon), ACCs (No. 6 Syracuse men, No. 3 NC State women), SECs (No. 5 Arkansas men vs. No. 11 Ole Miss) and the West Coast meet (No. 4 BYU men vs. No. 12 Portland). The Big East, Big Sky and Mountain West meets are all on Friday too.
