Saina struggled with food poisoning for the three days before Chicago and was forced to drop out after going through halfway in 4th place. Knowing she was in great shape, she wanted the chance for another race.

Tanzania's Augustine Sulle was a close second in 2:07:46 while Levins was 4th and Jake Robertson 5th (2:09:52). Levins brok the 2:10:09 Canadian record which was set by Jerome Drayton nearly 43-years-ago. Belete broke the women's CR in a close race with defending champ Marta Megra (2:22:35).

The Canadian record is 43-years-old and sits at 2:10:09. Levins says he's "in great shape" and "ready to attack" the record.

The men's field features former Chicago/Tokyo winner Dickson Chumba, defending champ Philemon Rono, past Tokyo winner Endeshaw Negasse and 2:04-man Tadese Tola. The women’s race has three 2:24-women in Fatuma Sado, Marta Megra, and Sutame Asefa.

Whitlock, a well known masters running legend who passed 7-months ago, set a slew of WRs in Toronto, including the oldest to go under 3-hours when he ran 2:54:49 at age-73.

The race includes at least 5 sub-2:08 guys including Sally Kipyego's older brother, Michael. Course record holder Sheron Cherop returns to Toronto where she'll face world junior record holder Shure Demise who ran 2:21:59 this year at 19. Race coverage starts at 8:15 am ET Sunday.

Last year in Toronto, Marchant set the Canadian record and lowered her pb from  2:31:51 to 2:28:00.
