The Orange (35 points) went 3-4-5 and cruised past the Illini (56 points) but the Friars (71 points) had to work for it despite going 4-5-6 as the Hoosiers and Hoyas were each just 7 points behind. Illinois' Jesse Reiser (24:13) and New Hampshire's Elle Purrier (16:49) were your individual champions. Might Illinois win its 1st Big 10 title since 1984?

If you want to win NCAAs as a team, you'd better run well this weekend. Every single year for the last 15 years, the eventual men's NCAA champion has won on this weekend. The race of the week is the men's race at Wisconsin as it includes the top three teams in the country (Northern Arizona, Syracuse and BYU) and a great individual battle between NAU's Futsum Zienasellassie, Syracuse's Justyn Knight and Stanford's Sean McGorty.

At the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown, Arkansas' Alex George (24:09) and UNH's Elinor Purrier (17:06) claimed the individual wins at Franklin Park. We also ran into Molly Huddle, who updated us on the early stages of her NYC Marathon training.
