BTC team members won all 4 events on Saturday at the first Prickly Pear Invitational. In the men's 3k, four men broke 7:40 while in the women's 3k four women ran 8:40 or faster.

There was more fast action in Boston on Friday night highlighted by deep men's 5000m where the top-6 ran under 13:14. Two UO men ran 3:55 in the mile, Cain improved to 9:07 and Kate Grace moved to #3 on the US indoor 1000m all-time list.

Edward Cheserek will likely become the most decorated runner in NCAA history this weekend at Texas A&M.

Cheserek ran the #2 collegiate 3k time ever at Millrose (7:40.51) and is the heavy favorite in the 5k. He's favored to sweep both, but could be vulnerable if he runs the DMR as well on Friday. Syracuse's Justyn Knight, Villanova's Patrick Tiernan, Stanford's Sean McGorty and Washington's Izaic Yorks will all be looking to take him down in the 3k.

Elise Cranny won the mile in 4:38 in her first race since outdoors last year. Worlds qualifier Clayton Murphy ran 1:46.13 to beat NCAA champion. Both 5Ks were very close as Thomas Curtin ran 13:37 to beat out Marc Scott by .24 and Molly Seidel won from Anna Rohrer in 15:47.
