The Deepest Marathon EVER is Sunday: 2020 Valencia Is Going to Be Incredible

Comeback Queen Hitomi Niiya Breaks Japanese Record (66:38), Jemal Yimer Wins (59:25), Big American Depth at Houston Half Marathon

Hitomi Niiya's comeback story is pretty cool and Jemal Yimer believe it or not crossed the line first for the first time ever on a day that saw 14 American men go sub 1:02 and 7 women go sub 1:10 as Jared Ward was 1st American and Sara Hall beat Molly Huddle.

Shura Kitata (60:11) and Brigid Kosgei (65:50) Win at 2019 Houston Half as Emily Sisson (67:30) Just Misses AR!

Kitata won a 3-way sprint in the men's race while Kosgei showed she's a real threat to win the greatest women's marathon in history in London by running the fastest time ever in the Western Hemisphere while Sisson stamped herself as a 2020 Olympic marathon contender.
