Freitas (4:09.80) and Frerichs (9:29.31) have SBs that put them well ahead of the rest of the NCAA, while Rogers is the defending NCAA indoor/outdoor champion. Can indoor mile champ Kaela Edwards challenge Freitas in the 1,500? What about Stanford's supersoph Olivia Baker (NCAA-leading 2:01.02) in the 800?

Purrier's 4:29.71 is over two seconds faster than anyone else in the NCAA this year. Can Oklahoma State's Kaela Edwards, Villanova's Angel Piccirillo or North Dakota State's Erin Teschuk challenge her?

Scott has been focused on this race all winter as she doesn't have NCAA indoor eligibility. Teschuk just got into the field last weekend after a scratch.

In the women's 1500 Sarah Brown ran 4:08.15 to beat Stephanie Brown (4:08:51) and Alexa Efraimson (4:09.43). Names behind Efraimson included Colleen Quigley (5th) and Dominique Scott (7th). Michael Atchoo won the men's race in 3:40.47 over Cristian Soratos (3:41.17). Stanley Kebenei (8:31) and North Dakota St.'s Erin Teschuk (9:43) had the fastest steeple times of the day. Diego Estrada (13:31) and Camille Buscomb (15:30) won the 5000.

Shalane Flanagan showed she's ready for Boston, Gabriele Grunewald got a nice pr and win in the 5000m, Sam Stabler of Lamar had the breakthrough of the meet in the 5000m, Oliver Aitchison showed he's becoming a force at 1500m,  German Fernandez got a much needed win and Erin Teschuk got some attention.

Shelby Houlihan broke the old meet record as well but lost as O'Connor was fantastic.
