Barno won over last year's CR setter Dominic Ondoro (2:11:17) while Jordan Chipangama was 3rd (2:11:17). On the women's side USA's Lindsey Scherf was a close second in 2:32:19 while CR holder Sarah Kiptoo was 3rd (2:32:51). Shadrack Biwott won the men's half in 64:09 as the top three were only separated by a second. Neelly Spence Gracey won the women's race (1:11:25).
