Shet beat out Diane Nukuri by 3-seconds. Saratoga high school senior and NXN runner-up Kelsey Chmiel was 4th in 16:24. Three-time Olympian Jen Rhines was the masters winner (17:22 for 11th overall).

Diane Nukuri had a small lead towards the end, but Pagano surged past her in the final kilometer to win in  15:48 with Stephanie Bruce 2nd (15:53) and Nukuri 3rd (15:56).

Americans Abdi Abdirahman, Chris Derrick and Meb Keflezighi all had the lead at one point in the men's race but the top Americans were Sara Hall (2nd) and Sam Chelanga (4th). Derrick ended up getting trounced but thinks he's ready to pb at 5000. Keflezighi reveals he recently was forced to walk home in the middle of a 12-mile training run. Post race interviews with Americans Keflezighi, Chelanga, Derrick, and Hall.

Jenkins wasn't content to end his season with a stroll as he was the only American man that tried to hang in the African lead pack. The battle in the women's race was very tight for both the win and top American honors. True beat a very deep field that included Sam Chelanga 4-seconds back. Nukuri Johnson also beat a very competitive field including Lauren Penny 6-seconds back, NCAA champ Marielle Hall, Neely Spence, Janet Bawcom and Sally Kipyego.
