In one of the greatest runs in women's distance running history, Kenya's Beatrick Chepkoech absolutely destroyed the WR by running 8:44.32. She wasn't the only one to run fast as the race featured a record 7 women under 9:10 and three national records.

If you missed the 2018 Paris DL, you missed a truly incredible meet. From a 46.98 men's 400 hurdles - the fastest time in more than 25 years - in the first event to a 9.88 world leading 100 in the last event, this meet had world leaders literally from start to finish. In between, there was 1:54 women's 800 and a 3:29 men's 1500. This meet had excellence in it from start to finish.
