2023 BAA 10K: Hellen Obiri (31:21) Holds On to Win as Gabriel Geay (27:49) Dominates
Obiri let a 21-second lead shrink to 4 seconds by the finish but held on to win in 31:21 as Gabriel Geay won the men's race in 27:49. Emily Sisson was 4th in 31:35.

Sunday: Boston Marathon Champions, Olympians, and NCAA Titlists to race 2019 B.A.A. 10K
Two-time BAA 10k champ Stephen Sambu and Daniel Chebii face Geoffrey Koech (27:18), 58:42 half runner Stephen Kiprop, and Abdi Abdirahman. Aliphine Tuliamuk, former Boston champ Caroline Rotich, Betsy Saina and 30:06 woman Fancy Chemutai lead the women's race.

Tanzania's Gabriel Geay (28:24) and Kenya's Mary Wacera win 2018 B.A.A. 10K in sprint finishes
Chris Derrick (6th, 29:00) and Nicole DiMercurio o(11th, 34:38) were the top Americans. Des Linden and Meb Keflezighi ran the course together for the 1st 5 miles before Linden pulled away for a "victory" in 38:25.

Chebii won in 27:58 over Stephen Sambu (28:03) as Dathan Ritzenhein finished 4th (28:10). Chelimo won the women's race in 31:24 over Mary Wacera (31:33).

After running the BAA 10K, Baysa changed swapped her running clothes for a gown and serenaded the crowd to honor the people of Boston and women's running pioneer Robert "Bobbi" Gibb.

Stephen Sambu, the former Arizona star, continued his fine 2014. After pacing Galen Rupp to his American record at 10,000m and running 26:54.61 himself, Sambu took to the roads in Boston and beat Geoffrey Mutai.
