Plus we wonder what's up with Parker Valby and Molly Seidel and introduce you to Cornell senior Perry Mackinnon who PRd on the track, ran world xc and then PRd on the track on 3 straight weekends.

What a race and what a way to cap a very fast night of track and field as Joe Waskom led the way in 3:51, the #3 mile time in NCAA history.

We caught up with Powell after Cheserek's collegiate record 3:52.01 mile in Boston and he shared details on Oregon's training system, how Cheserek bounced back from his defeat at NCAA XC and his relationship with Centrowitz, whom he coached to World Championship bronze in 2011.

Tabor Stevens, the NCAA XC champ and fastest American collegiate steepler last year, got a big win, so did German Fernandez, and Michael O'Hara got four of them. More track action, coaching advice, and a chance encounter with Geoffrey Kamworor in the airport which reminded us of Paul Tergat and Moses Tanui meeting President Bush.

We take one more look at Jenkins vs. Cheserek and our first at Jenkins vs. Rupp and Solinsky and Leah O'Connor vs. Simpson and Coburn. Plus a look at the worst cross-country coach in America, whether Ryan Hall went out too fast, and Ryan Gregson and Andrew Wheating.

Matt Centrowitz and Nick Willis delivered the goods on Saturday night with Centro edging Willis to win the Wanamaker mile. Wanamaker mile legend Bernard Lagat took 3 seconds off the 40+ world record in the indoor mile in 4th.
