Even when you could get it at full MSRP it was only $90. Lasted a long time. Cushioned enough for big mileage and long runs, while staying responsive enough for proper uptempo and speed work. One of the best all around shoes I have ever worn. Scoop up the GRR7 while there are still some out there.
Who runs in Sketchers?! Your grandma in between sets of her Silver Sneakers Body Pump class, maybe? But that’s about it. Well- and me thanks to a great deal on Running Warehouse and a few great reviews. These shoes are awesome! Cushioned, have a little rock forward that helps us mid foot strikers put some oomph in our stride, and hold up great. Truly, i can’t say enough good things about them. I already ordered a replacement pair!
I have owned and run in about 10 pairs of Go Run Ride models. This model has great cushioning that has lasted so far 400 plus miles for a 58-year-old 170-pound runner. Most of my runs are at 8-minute pace and 10 to 11 miles in length. These shoes do a great job of absorbing the pounding on concrete and asphalt in sub-freezing temperatures. I would definitely buy another pair of these shoes, they are well worth the money!
This is quite a sturdy shoe much more so that the previous model. I though perhaps the upper was a little bit stiff otherwise this was one of my favourite shoes. Despite not being a trail shoe I found this shoe very comfortable and supportive for trail and mountain running.
Honestly I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on a pair of sketchers running shoes. I typically run in New Balance, but as the prices have gotten more and more ridiculous, I started looking around for something cheaper, and these sketchers are like $60 on Amazon and no sh*t they are my favorite shoes I've ever run in. And I've run in a literal ton of shoes. I'm a mid-foot runner whose heels rarely touch the ground, and these shoes feel like they're made for me.
Affordable and durable. Light weight. Soft cushioning. I reach for this shoe more often than other more expensive shoes designed to filled the same market niche (e.g. Nike Vomero).
I prefer to run in this shoe with the main insole removed, the shoe is made so that you can remove the midsole and still run with a little more cushion. I like that. the shoe has pretty good cushioning and a firm upper. The midsole it squishy and doesn't show many signs of wear. It has good energy return too. I do like this shoe but would like to explore some more options.
Well cushioned neutral road running shoe suitable for long runs and possible marathon-length run. Versatile enough for tempo runs and fartleks. Wouldn't recommend for track days or speed intervals as midsole stack height might cause instability and injury due to ankle rolling
Great cushioning, good for easy and long runs, OK for tempos. On second pair, first did 600 miles and still some life left in them
The glow in the dark is neat but I do prefer the normal look of the shoe. Best all arounder I have ever worn. Cushioned enough for long runs. Light enough to pick up the pace. Fast and responsive enough for proper speed work. Would consider racing a marathon in this shoe as a “safe” option. For the price (new $90, can often find for 55-65) it has to be an all time great.
