This has been my favorite training shoe ever! Lasted nearly 1000 miles and I still wear them to go hiking, basically the durability is through the roof! Supportive for a neutral shoe while weighing only about 10 oz. The 8 mm drop is a low enough stack height for me as a midfoot striker. My favorite thing about these shoes is the springiness of the forefoot which makes them feel comfortable even for tempos and some speed work. I hate that Adidas stopped making these, I want another pair!
Best running shoe I have ever run in. It has cushion, support and they lasted for a long time. Once the 6 was discontinued I bought two more pair. I love this shoe. Although I don't run in them anymore I end up wearing them for kicking around because they still feel good on my feet.
Good neutral trainer. Plenty of cushion, but not "heavy." Very durable boost midsole and continental rubber outsole.
Good shoe for a neutral striker. Boost material works well. Has a decent response for a neutral trainer.
The midsole is very comfortable to run in, it is still well-cushioned after 1000km. The upper is quite narrow, but the shoe is otherwise very good.
I got them because I wanted something with significant drop and cushioning to ease some annoying achilles discomfort
I bought the shoe because it was heavily discounted at the time. I have enjoyed the shoe for the most part. No major problems from running with it, but I only wear it for shorter easy runs.
This was a brand new level of comfort experience, unrivaled by anything I've ever felt in a running shoe. When I tried it on in the store, the sensation was immediate, and it felt like it completely conformed to my foot. I really don't know if the boost material aids performance, but at ages 29 & 30 (albeit after inconsistent running from ages 19 to 27) I set mile, 2-mile, 5k, and 10k personal bests. As an American, I feel guilty about loving an adidas shoe more than a Nike, New Balance, Brooks, Saucony, Asics, etc., but the Supernova Glide Boost 6 fit better than anything I've ever tried on. The cushioning decreased slightly after 3 to 4 months, but then just completely stopped deteriorating after that (I'm now beyond 9 months in it). I had an injury while in this shoe, but it was traced back to improper stretching, not the shoe. Lastly, while in this shoe my pronation/eversion decreased, although that could have been from increased mileage. The only time I run on a paved surface is during a 5k race; all other times I'm on grass & cinder trails or (occasionally) a modern track. I'm only injury-prone while on paved surfaces, which for me means after a few months of race-season.
It's great.
Gets dirty easily in the upper
