XC Cross Country Racing Now Free To Play On Both Iphone & Android

During the Covid-19 lockdowns, former Wisconsin runner Ryan Craven spent much of his time developing a cross country video game. We wrote about it at the end of 2020: Cross Country Finally Has Its Own Video Game. We’ve got some good news for you. The game is now available to play on your phone and for free! Craven wrote us earlier in the summer stating:

Thanks to everyone who has supported my game making journey. I’m aware it’s not the best time in our economic history to ask folks to drop a few bucks on some frivolous (and absurdly niche) entertainment…so I’ve decided to rerelease the game for free in order to reach as wide an audience as possible. At this point, I’m not expecting to recoup the cost of the laptop I had to buy to finish the project not to mention justify the insane amount of time that went into everything. If you’d like to help, please download, share, or leave a review. Thanks again for your support.

Craven emailed us before the championship track season and hoped we’d get the word out before we got buried in work. Ooops. But at least we’re getting the word out now.
