2022 New York City Marathon Start Time

The TCS New York City Marathon no longer starts the mass runners with the professionals.

We’re all for the elite women having their own start if the race wants to highlight them, but the pro men should start with the masses. That is no longer the case in New York as the pros start 5 minutes before everyone else.

The national TV coverage starts at 8:30 am eastern on ESPN2. You can also watch a special feed of just the elite races if you have the TCS NYC Marathon app.
