Pre-Nats & the Nuttycombe Invite Are on Friday. Here’s What You Need to Know

October 14, 2021
The biggest day of NCAA cross country’s 2021 regular season will come on Friday, October 15, with the FSU Invite/Pre-Nationals at Florida State in the morning and the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational at Wisconsin in the afternoon. In all, 57 of the top 61 teams in the country will be racing at one of the two meets.
On the men’s side, the biggest showdown will come in Tallahassee as #1 NAU is set to take on #2 Notre Dame and #5 BYU — though it’s possible that Notre Dame, who raced only one of their prospective top seven at their home invitational two weeks ago, doesn’t run a full-strength squad.
On the women’s side, Madison is where it’s at as #1 NC State and #2 BYU, who went 1-2 at NCAAs last year, are set to do battle for the first time in 2021. They’ll be joined by #3 New Mexico and three other top-10 teams.
Below you’ll find links to results and streaming information as well as the schools competing in each meet.
