David 1, Goliath 0: Nike Has Dropped Its Lawsuit Against Boris Berian

Nike has dropped its lawsuit against Boris Berian.

LetsRun.com recently received a call from Merhawi Kefelzighi, Berian’s agent who said, “We have received notice of the dismissal and will have more to say in the next few days.” Keflizighi also  indicated that the lawsuit wasn’t dropped because the two sides had reached an agreement. Boris can run for New Balance or whomever he pleases in the upcoming Olympic Trials. We then asked how Berian was doing, “Boris is doing well.”

Will Berian now sign with NB?

Technically, Nike could still re-file the lawsuit within 2 years but that’s almost certainly not going to happen.
