Running Warehouse To Offer $5000 in Prize Money at 2014 Mt. Sac Relays

The Mt. SAC Relays are a lasting tradition in track & field. Dubbed as the meet “where the world’s best athletes compete”, the meet brings top high school, college, and elite talent to Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA to what is one of the largest and most prestigious invitational track & field meets in the country. The 56th annual running of the event will occur this Thursday through Saturday (April 17-19), and Running Warehouse will be in attendance.
Running Warehouse Challenge
Running Warehouse is offering up a $5,000 total prize purse for the meet. The runners with fastest Open Men’s and Women’s times of the meet in the 800m, 1500m, 3,000m steeplechase, 5,000m and 10,000m will win $500. Sorry kids – high school and collegiate athletes are not eligible in the Running Warehouse Challenge.
Sales Expo
Running Warehouse is teaming up with event sponsor Brooks Running to manage a retail outlet at the meet. Come check out Brooks’ spring/summer running apparel and accessories, running shoes, specialty track & field gear, and official Mt. SAC Relays event schwag, or just stop by and say hello. The retail outlet is open to all in attendance at the meet, and will be located in a large tent on the warm-up field at the south end of the track.
Coaches’ Hospitality
Running Warehouse and Brooks will also be hosting coaches’ hospitality on Friday and Saturday of the meet. Coaches are welcome to stop by for refreshments and to get the down-low on the latest in Brooks team apparel and footwear. The coaches’ hospitality will be located on an elevated viewing platform at the northwest corner of the track.
