UK sports teams never really line up with national borders. It's just the way these things go. Athletes from Anguilla have as much right to compete for the UK as anyone else. It's governed by the UK. Ciara Mageean could by the UK's best female 1500m runner if she wanted but prefers to represent Ireland. You win some, you lose some.
