Here's a question for you guys. What are some of the best colleges for running access. Obviously, Flag and Boulder are up there, but what are some other lesser known places that would be great spots to train?
Off the top of my mind I think Gunnison Colorado, Bozeman Montana, Morgantown West Virginia, Boone NC to name a few.
Ithaca, Burlington, Charlottesville, Nashville, Santa Cruz, Eugene
Ann Arbor. Nick Willis got pretty damn fast over here, training mostly on the endless trails and hills available.
Asheville, Santa Cruz, Boone (moses cone right nearby)
I hear Williamstown, MA is quite nice
Stillwater, Oklahoma & Fayetteville Arkansas.
Blacksburg VA
Any place where the daily average is below freezing for months in the winter is automatically disqualified.
Boise, Idaho
Tallahassee, FL
WLA SM BH MDR area. That's where the most TF Olympic Medal winners in tge World are.

Also the best place to run and crush beers based on the collegiate records that come from Henry Rono
Live in Morgantown, actually highly overlooked in regard to places to train. Beautiful rail to trail system that can be accessed from many points. Although the locals have taken it up as a place to live, huff paint, shoot heroin, and many more fun activities. WVU in their infinite wisdom decided that instead of rebuilding the existing track on campus they built one 30 minutes away on top of a wind-infested hill. The indoor track, ‘the shell’ is so old that the air(lack of) will have you coughing blood. The trails of coopers rock are actually pretty descent but unless your a Jim Wamsley wanna-be they are pretty uselessly technical.
