The updates to the 37 look great and I’m looking to pick up a pair. Curious how they compare to the Peg 36, Vomero 14, and Peg Turbo 2.

Bump. Also curious
Definitely softer and springier than the Pegasus 35. Same geometry, but the forefoot doesn't feel as thin.
Heavier than the Turbo 2. Feels denser underfoot but less thin feeling in the forefoot, especially over longer distance. More rubber feel on the outsole and landing than the Turbo 2, Epic React, or Infinity React.
Feel better cushioned and more bouncy than the Vomero 14. Less bulky in the heel. Faster. Less thin in the forefoot.
I personally still think I prefer the geometry of the Infinity React and the less prominent rubber feel on the outsole and landing of the Infinity React, Epic React, and Turbo 2.
This does feel like a modernized Pegasus though. The react feels way more lively and better cushioned. The air unit in the forefoot feels very noticable. But it still has that same Pegasus fit and geometry. And it still feels a little more traditional in terms of outsole feel.

The weight is about the same as the Infinity React, so it will come down to a preference in fit and geometry underfoot. I have a rotation, so I wouldn't really use the Pegasus 37 for dedicated speed work or tempos. It would be for easy days. The Infinity is a bit better for those though I think. The Pegasus might be a bit better for picking up the pace, but neither is a fast shoe for me. Either could be an easy and long run shoe where you pick it up a bit at the end though.
I did go half a size down in the Infinity for that sock-like fit and no heel slippage. The Pegasus 37 is fairly snug, so definitely wouldn't go half size down there. I have 9.5 in Peg 37 and 9 in Infinity React.
Hi,
Thanks ahwhatthe cheese, Interesting the specs are still 24/14 (like the traditional Pegs) on Nike website but on other websites 32/22 or 31/21 . So do you find these more cushioned in the forefoot and more responsive over the Nike Vomero 14's. Can you feel the airzoom unit in the forefoot like you could with the Vomero 14's. How would you compare these with the Asics Novablast. Thanks.
Cheers

Yes, they feel more cushioned and bouncy than the Vomero 14, particularly in the forefoot. Smoother and less clunky too. The air unit in the forefoot feels more present than the Vomero 14 even, but less awkward. It doesn't iritate. Sometimes the Vomero 14 air unit placing felt a bit off underfoot.
They are a bit firmer than the Novablast but more stable and still soft. Still quite bouncy. I didn't like the Novablast because the heel drop felt super high and blocky in the heel. No issue with that here. Smoother transition because the heel doesn't feel in the way here.
Thanks, I did try the Nike infinity react when I bought the Novablast. I found with the infinity that I was having heel slip and it was hard under the arch area and found the Novablast more comfortable and more responsive. I prefer larger drops 8 + . I must check the Peg 37 out if its a bit better than the Nike Vomero 14's and cheaper :)
Cheers

I just read the believe in the run review - did you find heel slippage and is the shoe fairly tight and narrow . Breathability - hot or fine. Thanks
Ordered yesterday. If what you say compared to the Vomero 14's is true, I'm super pumped. Sounds perfect.
I don't have an issue with 8-10mm drops, but the Novablast feels like it is much higher. That shoe feels like 15mm or something.
The fit of the Peg 37 is quite narrow and pointy up front like the Peg 35 and Turbo.
The heel slippage is the same feeling as the Peg 35, Turbo, and Vomero 14. It doesn't bother on the run, but feels a bit loose walking around.
