Hi all, I've been a pretty mediocre sprinter/xc runner (to stay in shape) since freshman year and with my senior season of track cancelled, I've decided to make the full leap into LD running. I know it probably wasn't the best move to run XC as a sprinter but that's all in the past now and I had a good time.
I'm looking for some help in making this transition as I don't know how my sprinting background affects the kind of workouts I should be doing, ie. what kind of speed work I'll need to do and what kind of benefit it'll provide.
I have a pretty rudimentary plan, but if anyone else has experience with my situation, some help would be appreciated.
