Been doing base training (8/15 runner) and decided to start mixing in some sprints and hills, since the lack of races seems like an opportunity to work on speed.
Today I ran a speed endurance workout:
5x 150 w/ 4 min jogging recovery in 18.2, 18.2, 18.0, 18.5, 18.6
Slight headwind in the straightaway.
I’m probably not gonna run a 400 TT b/c it doesn’t fit well with the plan, but I’m wondering what I could hit for 400. My guess is that I could run slightly faster for a single all out 200 (like 23.5), so I could probably hit 50.0-52.0.
Anybody have experience with a workout like this?
