I'm 14 years old, 15 when I maybe are going to do the ride. I'm a runner but I also enjoy riding, not currently riding anything. But want to ride a century in about a month, I'm a pretty good runner (34:21 in the 10k on the road). So I think I will have the capacity to do the ride. Will it hurt my running in any way to do a century(100 miles) ride? The ride is a loot of uphill, not a loot of downhill. Just want to do the century in a comfy pace, not race the ride if you know what I mean. So I don't burn my self down more than needed. Is this a bad idea?
