How does the Brooks Hyperion Tempo compare to the Skechers Razor 3 & Gorun 7+? Or to the Floatride Run Fast or Fuelcell Rebel?

better than the floatride run fast
more stable than the razor and firmer
haven't tried the rebel
not comparable to gorun ride 8. ride is a trainer and tempo is a lightweight trainer/workout shoe.

He's asking about the GoRun 7+ Hyper, not the Ride 8 (why in the world does Skechers name shoes this way, I don't know) and in my opinion, it's the closest call.
The GoRun 7+ Hyper is more flexible and has a slightly wider platform. I personally like the Skechers better; the Brooks has a slight edge in the upper (though both are very good), but the lack of flex grooves on the outsole and slightly narrow side knock it down in my book. Skechers GoRun 7+ Hyper is my choice (though make sure you get the 7+ and not the 7).
Otherwise, I largely agree with Reed's comparisons (and unfortunately I haven't tried the Rebel either).
I love the Hyperion Tempo so far. I have about 200 miles on my pair. Originally thought it would just be a faster days shoe but it has become my daily trainer at this point as it just works really well for me. I was previously using the Turbo 2 but liked the Hyperion Tempo's wider midfoot and flared out midsole in the forefoot making it more stable.
Brooks all the way. Going to the local run shop and buying one of my co workers a Brooks shoe, albeit curbside drop off. Amid this crisis is Brooks support to the specialty run shops, donations to healthcare workers.
After 25miles the Hyperion Tempo really comes alive. It has some inherent stiffness in the midsole that acts as a lever and moves along whereas the Gorun7+ is way too flexible to generate a propulsion. I would put it in with my old Razor 1st edition and Kinvara as a good drills/strength shoe.
