I have been running in Nike Air Pegasus 2002's and it is time to get some new shoes. I am a neutral runner, who likes the cushioning of the pegasus. I am trying to decide between the Air Max Moto II, Air Syklon 3's or 2005 Pegasus. I am a competive runner who will be wearing shoes to train 75-90 miles a week, on trails, roads and during some workouts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

skylon 3 for sure...my favorite shoes. like the air max moto, but feel clunky compared to the skylon. pegasus 2005 didn't feel as forgiving to me as i had hoped. ok shoe, but just wasn't what i anticipated.
Skylon. As Nike goes, it is still a runner's shoe rather than a plodder's shoe. If money is no object, get a pair of Streak XCs for faster runs and races.
If you need the medial support of the Air Max Moto, consider the Zoom Elite instead. It has a medial post but, like the Skylon, it is lightweight. (Not a "plodder's shoe.")
I have had two pair of the 05' Pegasus pop on me. The store I bought them from has had an extremely high number of these returned for the same reason. Each pair of mine had less than 200 miles on them, all on pavement. Really liked the shoe, but there has to be some kind of design flaw to account for the Air Bag popping issues.
