Have always been tradtional flat person. Picked up a pair of Peg Turbos in December, and set all new pb s. Literally over night was 5-10 sec per km faster.
However, didn't like the turbos and put them in the press, until this week, and bang, same speed increase (18.32 down to 18.09 on Covid 19 5km weekly (virtual) race).
So, placebo effect aside, as all logic should indicate over 5km one would be faster in flats (which is exactly what I thought when I bought the Turbos, didn't buy them to race).
Why am I faster in Turbos? Responder to the zoom x, is this a thing? Anyone have the same experience?
