I recently purchased a pair of Kiger 5's and really like the shoe but I'm getting hot spots on the back of my ankles at the top of the shoe. I start feeling hot spots after only a couple miles of hiking/trail running. I usually use the extra lace hole to lock the laces in place and give extra support. I'm not sure if the friction is from the extra hole or laces too tight/too loose. I had to go with a half size larger because of the narrow toe box and they seem to fit well except for this issue. Any advice would be appreciated.
